September is Hunger Action Month. At Grace Bridge, we call it Serving Hope Month because hope is about more than a meal.
Here in North Texas, hunger can be closer than we realize. It may affect a family down the street, a coworker, a classmate, or someone we see every day.
Each month, Grace Bridge serves more than 1,000 families by providing nutritious food, essential resources, and hope during difficult seasons.
Serving Hope Month is an invitation for our entire community to be part of that work.
Every act of generosity matters.
Every person can play a part.
Throughout September, there are many ways to get involved.
Serve alongside your family, friends, church, or coworkers. Support local restaurants participating in Restaurant Week. Give during North Texas Giving Day. Help collect needed food and resources. Share the message with others. Or simply take the time to learn more about hunger in our community and how you can help.
Together, we can make September more than a month of awareness. We can make it a month of action, compassion, and hope.

Ways to Get Involved
Serving Hope Month supports families across North Texas communities through programs & events designed to meet needs and develop long-term stability.
North Texas Giving Day
North Texas Giving Day is one of the most powerful days of the year to make your generosity go further. On this day, your gift to Grace Bridge helps serve over 1,000 North Texas families each month with food, essential resources, and hope.
You can also give to MasterCares.org, Grace Bridge’s partner charity extending that same hope to families in Uganda. Whether you give $15 or $150, every dollar works harder today. Give to Grace Bridge, or The Master Cares, or give to both!
Celina Restaurant Week
One of the most delicious ways to serve hope this September is right at your favorite table.
Celina Restaurant Week (August 21–September 5) brings together the best of Celina’s dining scene with a shared commitment to our neighbors in need.
When you dine at a participating restaurant, a portion of your meal goes directly toward providing food and resources to local families. Gather your friends, explore the flavors of downtown Celina, and let every bite count.

Prosper Restaurant Week
Prosper’s dining community is coming together this September to serve hope one meal at a time.
During Prosper Restaurant Week (September 18–27), participating local restaurants will donate a portion of sales to support Grace Bridge’s food assistance programs for North Texas families. Enjoy a great meal and give back at the same time.

Help Us Stock the Shelves: Canned Food Drive
Grace Bridge is partnering with the Celina Economic Development Corporation for a community canned food drive benefiting local individuals and families facing food insecurity as part of September 4th Celina Friday Night Market.
Bring your canned goods to the EDC offices located in the heart of downtown at the corner of South Ohio and FM 455. Look for the Grace Bridge banners
Every can donated helps provide food, encouragement, and hope to a family in our community.

Family Night at the Celina Food Facility
Come see hope in action. Join us for a special Family Night at the Grace Bridge Celina food facility — an open-door evening for the whole community to step inside, see where the work happens, and connect with our team.
Whether you’ve volunteered before or you’re curious for the first time, this is a night to gather, learn, and be inspired. Bring your family, bring your neighbors, and come ready to be part of something bigger.

Resale store mural dedication
Art has a way of telling a community’s story, and this one is ours.

September Food Distribution
Each month, Grace Bridge distributes food and essential resources to more than 1,000 families across North Texas.
Our food distributions take place at multiple community locations throughout the month, providing nutritious food and hope to families facing hardship right here in our neighborhoods.
Whether you need assistance or know someone who does, Grace Bridge is here.
Volunteer Opportunities
From food distributions to special events, there’s a place for everyone to plug in and make a real difference.
It only takes a few hours to change someone’s entire month.
Perishables Distributions
Grace Bridge is collecting donations of perishable food items to help stock our food boxes for local families in need.
