Where it all began…

Our Journey in pictures…

What started out as a small group of Celina men serving their community members with food during the Thanksgiving holiday evolved into a multi-operational nonprofit, executing on five initiatives to meet the needs of our neighbors.

A question was asked. How are the basic needs of these families met outside of the holiday season and how to serve community members year around. This question sparked discussions which led to prayers and planning. Many community members immediately supported the start up Grace Bridge with provisions and labor and in April of 2011 Grace Bridge Food Bank began serving those in need year round.

319 West Walnut Street in Celina has been a location of community service, love and hope for over a decade now. Grace Bridge team members, volunteers and families seeking assistance have been so grateful for the use of the building and location. This offering has truly been incredible and provided a centralized “go-to place” for so many needing help. Looking back through the years and what God has done with just 2,500 square feet is simply amazing. Food has been collected, sorted, packed and distributed, families have received eye care and glasses, diapers, baby formula, clothes, school supplies, Christmas toys, home goods, furniture, books, Bibles, and the list goes on. The most precious offering from Grace Bridge Food Bank Distribution Center is sharing the gospel with those who are hurting and feeling beat down. To show someone love, compassion and respect; to treat them with dignity while sharing Jesus’ love for them, can help heal emotional wounds and encourage the lost to seek His truth. This is our mission…and now our mission is mobile!

With the growth of downtown Celina and Grace Bridge, our 319 W. Walnut location is no longer conducive for our efforts in serving the growing needs of our community. As a result, we no longer have use or access to the building at 319 W. Walnut Street in Celina and have transitioned processes and outreach efforts as follows:

All in-kind donations are accepted at our Celina Donation Center at 402 S. Oklahoma Drive (Celina). LEARN MORE

First Saturday food distribution is at First Celina Church and our third Saturday distribution is at Prestonwood Baptist Church (Prosper). LEARN MORE

All food collections, sorting and packing efforts have move to our food facility on Custer Road.
