Partnership Update 1/19/22

It's hard to believe we are already into the third week of January. We held our second food distribution of the year this past Saturday and had a large turn out of folks looking for support and help.
Even though it was a bitter cold morning, there were 37 awesome volunteers that bundled up and pushed through the chill to serve their community.

A big reason Grace Bridge is still here serving families after 10 years is because of faithful volunteers who show up week in and week out through all kinds of weather to make sure their neighbors are cared for. What brings us Hope, is to see the compassionate hearts of others who look outside themselves to do what they can for those in need.

A Great example of this is at our partner location at Northside Baptist Church in Carrollton.
On Saturday they served 47 families with 30 volunteers, distributing 2,632 meals.

We share these metrics after every distribution across Grace Bridge and partner distribution locations to highlight that there is an ongoing need and we are seeing an impact through your support.

There's certainly no shortage of serving opportunities and we invite you to join us and see for yourself the good that is happening every week here.

The Next Generation of Hope Givers

There are so many stories that are happening all the time around Grace Bridge and many we may never even get to hear about, but one encouraging story we want to highlight shows what the next generation is bringing to our community.

Hear from our friend Danielle how she's making an impact in her community by partnering with Grace Bridge.

"I am in an organization called American Heritage Girls and as part of earning the Stars and Stripes Award, the highest achievable award, I needed to plan, organize, and implement a project that would benefit the community. My family and I have served with Gracebridge several times so when I learned about this opportunity, I was very excited and grateful. I look forward to how God can impact the community and Gracebridge immeasurably with my contribution."

Danielle designed the plans, purchased materials, and constructed three food collection boxes to help Grace Bridge in our food donation efforts for families at our distributions!
This was a solo effort on her part and she did a fantastic job! We're excited to see the next generation serving their community. Thank you Danielle!
